University of Silesia in Katowice (US)- Poland 

The University of Silesia in Katowice, with a proven track record in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship education, is the project leader and coordinator. US, has participated in the previous "Entrepreneur" project (Cohort 2) and thus brings valuable experience in managing European-level initiatives and designing innovative activities. The university’s multidisciplinary expertise, spanning social sciences, engineering, and technology, allows for a comprehensive approach to addressing project challenges. US is deeply committed to knowledge transfer between academia and industry, a core component of the EIT's Knowledge Triangle. Its strong focus on fostering collaborations within regional and EU innovation ecosystems positions it as a leader in driving sustainable, impactful results. US also has the infrastructure, experience, and strategic vision necessary for ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of projects, making it a key player in advancing the objectives of the EIT HEI Initiative and contributing to the overall innovation landscape.

Vytautas Magnus University (VMU)- Lithuania

Vytautas Magnus University has a strong academic reputation and focus on entrepreneurship and innovation. Known for its high-quality research and education, particularly in social sciences, business, and the humanities, VMU supports a multidisciplinary approach to addressing societal challenges. The university’s participation in the previous EIT HEI Initiative project "Entrepreneur" (Cohort 2) further strengthens its expertise in entrepreneurship education. With extensive experience in European projects, VMU is well-equipped to manage initiatives under the EIT HEI framework. The university also has strong partnerships with industry and research organisations, facilitating knowledge transfer and aligning with the EIT’s Knowledge Triangle. Additionally, VMU’s commitment to regional and EU innovation ecosystems, along with its capacity to ensure sustainable impact, makes it a valuable partner in driving long-term success and contributing to the EIT HEI Initiative’s goals.

Universite Jean Monnet (UJM) - France

Universite Jean Monnet has a very strong academic reputation and commitment to innovation. Known for its research excellence in economics, social sciences, and technology, UJM brings valuable multidisciplinary expertise to the initiative. The university emphasises entrepreneurship and offers specialised programmes to support start-ups and innovative projects. With significant experience in European initiatives related to education, research, and innovation, UJM is well-equipped to contribute to and manage EIT HEI projects. Its network of industry and academic collaborations supports effective knowledge transfer and connecting HEI initiatives to industry stakeholders, thus aligning with the EIT’s Knowledge Triangle. UJM’s focus on regional and EU impact, along with its commitment to long-term sustainability, makes it a valuable partner for driving innovation and fostering entrepreneurship across Europe.

​SPIN-US - Poland
SPIN-US, a spin-off company of the University of Silesia in Katowice, has strong connections to academia, with access to cutting-edge research and expertise. Specialising in innovation and entrepreneurship, SPIN-US excels at translating research into real-world applications. With experience in EU projects, the company is well-equipped to manage and contribute to this EIT HEI initiatives. SPIN-US fosters an entrepreneurial mindset, supports commercialisation, and leverages a broad network for knowledge transfer and collaboration. Its commitment to sustainable, impactful solutions aligns with the EIT HEI Initiative’s goals of long-term societal and economic benefits.

​European University Cyprus (EUC) - Cyprus
​European University Cyprus has a strong academic and research foundation, particularly in business, engineering, social sciences, and health. With a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, EUC offers programmes that foster entrepreneurial skills and support the commercialisation of research. EUC is part of Galileo Global Education, Europe’s largest higher education group with a network of 54 institutions present in over 97 campuses in 13 countries and over 170,000 enrolled students. The university has significant experience in European projects, including the successful Microsoft for Start-Ups project, which highlights its ability to manage and execute initiatives. EUC also has strong collaborations with industry, government, and other academic institutions, both regionally and across Europe. Its commitment to regional and EU impact, along with its infrastructure for long-term sustainability, makes EUC a valuable partner in driving entrepreneurship, innovation, and knowledge transfer within this partnership.

GrantXpert Consulting (GX) - Cyprus
GrantXpert Consulting is a Cypriot-based SME, with a cumulative expertise of more than 25 years in European and National funding programmes. GX has great expertise in EU funding and project management, particularly in innovation, entrepreneurship, and education. With a proven track record in coordinating and advising on EU-funded projects, including the EIT HEI Initiative project "Entrepreneur" from cohort 2, GX ensures effective implementation, application processes, and reporting. The company also provides capacity-building support, helping institutions enhance their ability to manage and design projects, aligning with the EIT HEI’s goals. GX’s broad network of collaborators across Europe, including universities, research institutions, and businesses, fosters collaboration and knowledge transfer. Their commitment to innovation and sustainability ensures that this project will have a lasting impact.

Technical University of Sofia (TUS) - Bulgaria
Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria’s largest university with over 12,500 students, specialises in engineering, technology, and applied sciences, including fields such as nanotechnology, virtual engineering, renewable energy, and energy efficiency. TUS aligns with the EIT HEI Initiative’s goals of innovation and entrepreneurship, with extensive experience in managing EU-funded projects and strong industry connections. The university fosters innovation through research, commercialisation, and its entrepreneurship programmes, which equip students with the skills needed to launch new ventures. Through the project, TUS will advance innovative educational frameworks in entrepreneurship and enhance its own internal capabilities in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Universidad Tecnológica Atlántico Mediterráneo (UTAMED) – Spain
Universidad Tecnológica Atlántico Mediterráneo (UTAMED) is an online university in Málaga, Spain with an innovative approach to education and entrepreneurship. Specialising in digital learning, the university leverages cutting-edge virtual platforms to deliver high-quality, flexible education, equipping students with future-ready skills. Its strong emphasis on entrepreneurship is reflected in programmes designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and business acumen. With experience in international collaborations and managing global projects, the university is adept at contributing to this multi-partner initiative. Its commitment to accessibility and inclusivity aligns with EIT’s goals of fostering diversity and innovation, making it a valuable contributor to advancing education, entrepreneurship, and societal impact. UTAMED hasn’t participated in any previous EIT HEI project, and it is not KIC-affiliated and via the project will empower its entrepreneurial capabilities.
